In this conversation, my dear friend Kara Wood (you can read her intro/bio here) and finish our conversation around Grief — as a spirit, entity, being. A Mother. On seeing, being with and witnessing Grief. On the prefiche— we talk about those who collectively move grief through village and community, as their practice, as their role, as their way of being.
We just jam and talk as we do, as friends, as collectivists, as those who love each other, love the Mother, love the way Grief moves, even in its hardest moments — because being in loss and in presence— is a thing. And it’s intense. And it’s also why we are alive.
We hope you enjoy. And below are some links on ancestral grieving customs, traditions, info — related to some things we talked about during this hour conversation.
