Hi friends,

This Sunday we will be finally having our mini writing retreat together. Last week the on-going winter-of-freeze-illness that has been weaving through my family finally got to me. But, all better now.

I changed the name from Ring of Fire to DREAM*time. Because: Pisces. We moved on through that ring of fire into the watery, dreamy depths of of our poetic Pisces — the final sign in our modern zodiac.

Come to the retreat if:

• You want to take time to slow down, get curious, write

• If you want to write in community

• If you want a container to hold you as we create prompting and writing time

• You are longing to spend 2 hours on yourself and to be with your writing god within

• You have so much you need to get out

• The unseen spaces are pulling you to write, to create

• You need a dreamy space to feel free to write, a space where you can lean into the dreams you have for the world

• Your nervous system needs some soft creative time

• You already have a writing project and you just want a space to dive deeper in

This is going to be a very casual, very simple writing space. It is not a workshop. It’s a held container for us to write together. Here is basically how it will go.

Noon-12:15:

*gather and ground

*work with the tarot for guidance

*share a prompt (but it’s only to get you going, not to obsess over)

12:15-12:35

*write for 20 minutes

12:35-12:45

*come back and share—another card pull and a re*prompt

12:45-1:05

*write for 20 minutes

1:05-1:15

*get up, move around, simple somatic practice

1:15-1:35

*write for 20 more minutes

1:35-2pm

*share + close our retreat
